I'm a web developer who combines formal technical training with hands-on production experience. My background in Mass Communication and Korean cultural studies gives me a unique perspective on user experience and global digital communication.
The Journey: Founded PinoySeoul.com in 2017 to serve the Filipino community in Korea. As the platform grew significantly, I recognized the need to deeply understand the technology powering it. This led me to formal education at City College of San Francisco and Bay Valley Tech, supplemented by intensive self-study through freeCodeCamp.
What I Bring: The rare combination of entrepreneurial thinking and technical execution. I understand both business requirements and technical constraints because I've lived both sides—founding a platform, serving real users, managing stakeholders, while also deploying servers, writing code, and debugging production issues at 2 AM.
Current Focus: Maintaining production infrastructure for PinoySeoul while actively seeking technical support opportunities where I can contribute technical skills, business thinking, and cultural awareness to innovative teams.
Looking For: Web developer and Technical Support positions where I can leverage both technical skills and entrepreneurial experience. Particularly interested in roles involving frontend development, DevOps, or full-stack work at startups or companies valuing self-starters who can own projects end-to-end.
"Most bootcamp graduates have tutorial projects. I have production systems serving a substantial user base. Most junior developers haven't managed infrastructure. I run 7 containerized applications. Most candidates bring code skills. I bring code skills plus proven ability to ship products and serve real users."
